In this program, participants will experience data analysis and visualization using real and illustrative datasets.
This course introduces participants with Essential Data Analytics Skill to visualize to make decision on problem solving. They are expose to essential knowledge, tools, strategic datasets, and projects to create data-driven values. In addition, project management skills focusing on the essence good project methodology from leading institutions including’s collections of leading practices will also be presented.
Program Modules
(Day 1)
ESSENTIAL OF PYTHON AND STATISTICS
- Obtain skills in setting up Python environment, installing key packages and creating directory paths.
- Learn Python programming skills for handling data structures – lists, tuples, sets and dictionaries.
- Perform analytics tasks using Python function, anonymous blocks and class.
- Familiarize with statistical principles and tests in measuring the performance of prediction model.
(Day 2)
DATA ANALYSIS
- Perform data cleansing on numerical and categorical data using Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Jupyter Notebook and other supporting tools.
- Learn Machine Learning algorithms that give the most accurate and reliable model for prediction and insight extraction.
- Experience extensive parameter optimization to improve model accuracy.
(Day 3)
VISUALIZATION AND INSIGHT EXTRACTION
- Create visualization charts to unravel strategic information and insights from high quality data.
- Use popular Python tools – Matplotlib, Seaborn and Plotly to produces static and responsive charts.
- Extract insights from accurate model, feature importance and local interpretation of sample prediction.
